The contextualization and critical reflection of one’s own creative activities is a prerequisite that is profitable in many areas. In this seminar, students learned scientific, interdisciplinary and design-specific methods, such as research, documentation or analysis techniques. In addition, efficient working methods were taught, the handling of formal criteria was secured, the understanding of scholarly texts was clarified and one’s own logical reasoning was tested and sharpened. Finally, the examination of different theoretical approaches should enable one to independently apply methods in order to scientifically substantiate one’s own ideas and projects.
